Anoche se llevó a cabo la 93° gala de premiación de los Oscars 2021. A diferencia de celebraciones anteriores, y tomando todos los recaudos, hubo mayor presencialidad en el evento. De esta forma, los ganadores pudieron acercarse al escenario a recibir su premio, y no verse en la necesidad de agradecer desde sus hogares. A su vez, Bryan Cranston hizo una pequeña participación desde el icónico Teatro Dolby. Desde allí entregó el premio solidario, the Humanitarian Award, a Jean Hersholt por el labor de Motion Picture Television Fund.

En cuanto a las ternas, recordamos que fueron 23 en total, y el film que más estatuillas obtuvo fue Nomadland. Siendo reconocido por 3 de los premios más importantes: Mejor Película, Mejor Actriz y Mejor Directora. Consecutivamente le siguieron “Mank“, “The Father“, “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom“, “Judas and the Black Messiah“, “Sound of Metal” y “Soul“, con 2 Oscars cada uno.
