Celebrándose la 94° edición, anoche se llevó a cabo en el reconocido Teatro Dolby, la entrega de los Oscars 2022. En esta oportunidad estuvieron como anfitrionas Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer y Regina Hall, aunque también a lo largo de la velada se fueron acercando al escenario otros reconocidos artistas para entregar los premios, como es habitual. El detalle singular de la gala, probablemente por CODA pero siendo emotivo se incluya, fue su transmisión en lenguaje de señas.
La película que más nominaciones tenía era The Power of the Dog, con 12, seguida de Dune con 10. Finalmente, la que más estatuillas obtuvo fue Dune con seis, y aquí debajo les contamos todos los ganadores de la velada:

Como adelantábamos, Dune fue la más galardonada, seguida por CODA con 3 Oscars y The Eyes of Tammy Faye con 2. Luego le continuaron con 1 premio cada una: Belfast, Cruella, Drive My Car, Encanto, King Richard, No Time to Die, Summer of Soul (…Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised), The Long Goodbye, The Power of the Dog, The Queen of Basketball, The Windshield Wiper y West Side Story.
Esta entrega de los Oscars 2022 contó con un pequeño homenaje a ciertas películas que estaban cumpliendo años como Pulp Fiction junto a El Padrino, y parte de su elenco (y directores) se hicieron presentes en el escenario. A su vez, entregando el premio a mejor película, estuvo Liza Minnelli con Lady Gaga. Como todos los años, también se realizó la respetuosa despedida a los artistas, de frente y detrás de cámara. Para finalizar, como quizás ya escucharon, lamentablemente se vivió un momento de tensión con Will Smith y Chris Rock, seguido de un discurso por parte de El Príncipe del Rap al recibir su galardón.
